What will you learn?
Everything that you need to finish your first pair of origami earrings. The content is organized into several units, each consisting of a text description and several short video tutorials.
You will learn:
- What to prepare before we start (tools and materials)
- How to choose the right paper
- How to fold RainDrop ornaments and variations
- How to work with wire to attach the paper parts
- How to make earrings more resistant
- How to connect everything together
Two live sessions are included, with recordings available afterward.
How does it work?
1. In the first unit, accessible immediately after purchasing the course, you will learn about the material and tools you need to prepare.
2. All other units will be accessible from Friday, February 10, 2023. There is a live session planned for the beginning of the course on 11th February (check the timing below).
3. We wrap everything up in the second live session on 25th February. In the ideal case, the majority of the work should be done by then.
4. No worries if you don't finish by then. You will have access to the complete course material for three months until May 14, 2023.
5. If you prefer to keep unlimited access to the course, or if you think about using my designs for commercial purposes, check the other pricing options listed below.

I explain everything you need to get in the first unit before the course starts.

Learning from videos works well, but in a live session, you can get help if you struggle and you have an opportunity to ask questions. I certainly love to know my students, so LIVE sessions are also a great way to know each other :)
What if you can't be there during LIVEs?
It's a pity if you can't make it. But it's not a big deal as recordings from our live sessions will be available soon after the meeting.
How much time does it take?
Ideally, the course will take around 2 weeks (between 11th February and 25th February). You will have some extra days before to prepare everything needed. Access to the course will last till May 14, 2023.

TESTIMONIALS
I found Dasa’s online course very inspirational and extremely informative.
I liked the form – prepared videos allowed me to learn and practice the production steps in my own tempo, the online sessions were a good place to share our progress, get helpful tips & tricks and solve our minor troubles.
As a beginner to Origami-Jewelry, I was very thankful to get a detailed tutorial and an insight into “tricks of the trade”. I have saved myself a lot of time and money learning how to make things properly directly from a professional.
Thank you Dasa, I will happily subscribe to your next online course!

The instructor, Dasa Severova, did a terrific job explaining all of the materials and prep work needed before the first live session. The live sessions were helpful for seeing and working through the entire process and for asking questions. Each live session was recorded and posted online soon after so participants who weren’t able to attend could watch at their leisure, or for anyone who wanted to review the information at any time.
Overall, I found the course content and structure well organized, clearly presented and comprehensive. And, not only did I learn some lovely new forms, but I also interacted with a delightful group of #OrigamiEnthusiasts from around the world. What could be better?! 🥰
I highly recommend this course to anyone who loves making #OrigamiJewelry or #PaperJewelry.

I had the chance to attend the RainDrop Earrings course in 2022 and it was such a delightful experience.
The course was very well structured and divided in sections, facilitating the learning process and making it suitable even for beginners. We learned how to fold Dasa’s famous raindrop design and were encouraged to further experiment with it.
The instructions videos were very detailed and extremely helpful, covering all aspects of the paper-earring creation journey: papers, sizes, tools, glues, varnishes and all other necessary accessories. Dasa was present every step of the way and always willing to provide her help, which felt so nice. During the live sessions, we got to interact with Dasa and other fellow folders, learned many useful tips and had all of our questions answered.
To put it simply: this course is a must for anyone who is interested in making their own origami jewelry; it’s 100% worth it and I can’t recommend it enough.

Meet your instructor
Hi, I am Dáša Ševerová and I love to share my origami creations with enthusiastic people.
I come from Slovakia and originally, I was a math, biology, and informatics teacher. For half of my life, I am also a dedicated paper folder and designer. I created many models in the last years, worked on several origami books, and crafted many wearable objects like paper bracelets and lightweight origami earrings.
You can find more about my origami work on my Instagram, in my Flickr gallery or on my website. Here and there I also publish origami tutorials on my YouTube channel.
In the recent years I taught many online origami workshops, sometimes with more than 100 participants. I participated in Origami World Marathon (OWM1, OWM2) and in the 2nd Geometric Origami Convention (GOC2) to mention some.
